The Full Story
I’m a painter, recently of Taranaki and currently working in The Czech Republic with my Wife and 3 Daughters.
I produce works on canvas, often described as Abstract, Expressionist Surrealism.
I work in Oils, Spray paint and Acrylic.
Much of my work over the past 30 years has involved the painting of murals.
I was born in Exeter, England in 1976, we emigrated to Aotearoa in 1988 and spent most of the 90s in Wellington.
I studied after a fashion … at Marlborough Polytech in 1995, (when I took my first commission) and TLCs Erskine campus in 1998-99. I painted a lot of Murals in the Wellington region in 2000-1, then I spent 2002 in Paris, France. 2003 in St Ives, England and 2004 in Canberra Australia, returning to Wellington in 2005, I’ve been an independent full time Artist since 2006. Living and working in, but not limited to, Wellington, Mangawhai, Whanganui, Taranaki and Prague.
